MCC and the University of the Ryukyus - Japan Gear Up for Global Leadership and SDGs Online Intensive Course

Mabalacat City College kicks off the second session of the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Program with the University of the Ryukyus (Japan) through the MCC Internationalization Office, with the institution’s aim to further strengthen its globalization or internationalization practices.

Five (5) selected students from Mabalacat City College participated in an intercultural discussion with 5 other student counterparts from the University of Ryukyus, Japan on December 3, 2021, January 21, 2022, and January 28, 2022, respectively. Participants shared their perspectives through in-depth discussions on matters pertaining to sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and MCC students highlighted some information about the Philippines.

Serinah Tan from the aforementioned University expressed her excitement and stated, “We are thrilled to have you on board with us in the Global Leadership and SDGs online course, once again!”

The event brought together over 100 first-year students, equipping them with skills in life-saving and fostering commitment to social responsibility.
