MCC BREAKS GROUND FOR THE "MCC DAPDAP COMMUNITY CENTER"

MCC College President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong stated that the community student center is a four-storey building that has training rooms, dormitories, a kitchen, a wellness gym and an open area. The learning areas are designed like cafés. There is also a part of the building that will serve as a review center for the board examinees.

President Ong dubbed the upcoming building as the “Home of the Topnotchers”. “This will be their home for six (6) months before taking their board exams,” she said referring to the future board examinees.

MCC Board Chairperson and City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo stated that this new project will support the youth for their licensure examinations and that it will surely give them motivation to pass and top the boards. He also stated that the Local Government of Mabalacat will purchase a bus to ferry the students from the campus to McArthur Highway for their convenience and safety.

Also present during the ground breaking were Topstar 2 Builders President Mr. William Makani, MCC Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Michael Mesa, MCC Vice President for Finance and Administration Ms. Happy Pelayo, Engr. Rodigo De Leon of the Mabalacat City Engineering Office, and MCC Sports Coordinator Mr. Enrico Gaston.
