MCC, CYDO Plans for REAP Continuity

As Mabalacat City College’s partnership commitment with Mabalacat City Youth Development Office (CYDO) neared its anniversary, the two conducted a closed-door meeting on 14 January 2025. The meeting highlighted opportunities to enhance partnership and implementation of Return to Education Assistance Program (REAP).

Moreover, updates on the students under REAP and future plans for the programs were discussed. REAP was specifically designed to reach out the drop-out students and out-of-school youth within the community and offer them support and assistance to pursue their tertiary education.

Present during the meeting were CYDO representatives, Policy and Planning Acting Coordinator Ms. Mary Ann Manongdo, Policy and Policy Staff Ms. Anna Dominique Balagtas, LPT together with other staff and MCC personnel, College Registrar Ms. Kris Janey Marucut, LPT and Registrar Coordinator Mr. Rannel D. Sayco. Through REAP, MCC and CYDO recognize the importance of completing a degree for its community members and their families.

In celebration of Women’s Month, Mabalacat City College (MCC) in collaboration with the Philippine Air Force – Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command (PAF-AFRC) hosted a one-day Baking Workshop on 31 March 2025 at MCC Kitchen and Hometown Bar & Restaurant Laboratory. The event was intended to empower women and promote leadership and resilience.

(PCEI) on 26 March 2025. This partnership intended to promote energy conservation, research collaboration, and sustainable energy practices within the institution and the broader community
