MCC Holds 2nd CPD Webinar on Advanced Office Productivity Tools Training for Teachers

Mabalacat City College, led by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, has successfully organized its second CPD webinar on Advanced Office Productivity Tools Training for teachers and other professionals via Microsoft Teams.

Mr. Wilbert C. Venzon, LPT, MBA, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and the first resource speaker of the webinar, shared his expertise in the utilization and navigation of the advanced features available in Microsoft 365. In his lecture, he put emphasis on Account Administration and Processes and Classroom Productivity with Microsoft Teams, as well as the benefits of these tools in different contexts.

The second speaker, Ms. Jonald Grace C. Zafra who is also a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer since 2019, explained the full suite of Microsoft 365 tools, and further discussed and demonstrated the Office 365 operations and processes with portfolio creation using Wakelet/Sway and Sharepoint optimization.

The highlight of today’s event was to fully equip not only professional teachers but also those from various fields, with additional skills in increasing work productivity in various settings and in achieving better outcomes by maximizing the utility of these advanced Microsoft tools.

In addition to the CPD units and an MCC certificate of participation, participants were awarded a separate Microsoft in Education Certificate after the training.

The event brought together over 100 first-year students, equipping them with skills in life-saving and fostering commitment to social responsibility.
