MCC Kayantabe to partner with DICT for Community Empowerment

Mabalacat City, Pampanga—MCC Kayantabe intends to forge a partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Pampanga in a meeting on 29 September 2023 for Community Empowerment activities.

Entailed in the partnership are the joint effort for Kayantabe’s Project SAYAWIT and the Free Wi-Fi Connection program for the partner community. DICT also extended assistance for Capacity Building Trainings on Information and Technology-related topics and offered free training venue, equipments, and DigiHub for On-the-Job trainings.

Mabalacat City College was represented by Kayantabe Manager Carol R. Arboleda, Partnership and External Relations Officer Marilyn Gomez, Training and Development Officer Marivic Gacho, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Impact Assessment Officer Francis Joseph Masa. While DICT Pampanga was represented by DICT Pampanga Provincial Head Edriel Miranda, Asst. Provincial Head Engr. Jonathan Solis, and Project Development Officer Clarissa Padilla.

By forging such partnerships, MCC through the Kayantabe Office sustains its programs and initiative towards empowering the local community and equipping students with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills.
