MCC Makes It in the 2023 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities

In the annual Webometrics Ranking of World Universities ranking for 2023, Mabalacat City College was ranked 257th among hundreds that were ranked out of thousands Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines.

Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is a program created and managed by Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) that ranks colleges and universities around the world based on visibility, transparency or openness, and excellence.

Based on the Webometrics website, “the Ranking Web (or Webometrics Ranking) has been publishing ranking data twice a year since 2014, covering more than 31, 000 Higher Education Institutions worldwide. It intends to motivate both institutions and scholars to have a web presence that accurately reflects their activities.”

Mabalacat City College continuously strengthens its visibility and relevance not only in the local community but also in the international level through participation in various ranking systems. MCC’s visibility in the world and national rankings is a testament to the good reputation that the College has nurtured through quality education and training.
