MCC, MCUT Signs MoU for Future Collaborations

Intending to enhance educational experiences and opportunities, Mabalacat City College President Michelle Aguilar-Ong, DPA and Ming Chi University (MCUT), Taiwan President Dr. Thu-Hua Liu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 4 June 2024. This represents a significant step forward in international cooperation between MCC and MCUT.

This strategic partnership aimed to foster future student exchanges, research collaborations, transnational education and faculty development programs. The agreement reflected a mutual commitment to academic excellence and the development of global competencies among students and faculty.

Key areas of collaboration include Pathway Programs and Curriculum Development in Semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial and Digital Design, and Business Management. Additionally, the partnership is purposed to facilitate Cultural and Local Studies Exchange Programs.

Both institutions presented their programs and provided information about their respective schools, highlighting their strengths and potential areas for collaboration. Furthermore, representatives from MCUT enjoyed the comprehensive campus tour in MCC, where they gained insights about college’s facilities and learning environment.

This partnership marked a promising beginning for MCC and MCUT, setting the stage for fruitful exchanges and innovative academic endeavors.
