NU-Clark Benchmarks MCC’s Best Practice

Mabalacat City College (MCC) hosted a benchmarking activity with National University-Clark (NU-Clark) on 20 February 2025. This focused on the college’s best practices on internationalization and potential institutional collaboration.

The benchmarking highlighted the college’s strategic internationalization efforts, participation in global rankings such as WURI and other initiatives to enhance global competencies among students and faculty. NU-Clark also had a consultation session regarding World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).

Furthermore, discussions also revolved around fostering academic collaborations, research partnerships and cross-institutional projects that align with both institutions’ vision for global excellence.

The NU-Clark delegation was composed of key representatives, including QAT Representative Jayemer O. Miranda, FSO Coordinator Richard John W. Hernandez, Nationalian Coordinator Mario Lawrence C. Marketing Coordinator Dingal, John Patrick Dela Peña and ITSO Supervisor Cindy Quilon.

Vice President for Global Relations, Opportunities, and Workforce Development, Raymond John D. Vergara led the discussions. Assistant Vice President for Linkages and International Affairs Engr. Joshua Ken Policarpio, Global Initiatives Coordinator Joeylyn Sagat and the Center Community Research and Innovation Director James Darwin Lagman were also present.

MCC remains committed to fostering global linkages and innovative strategies that empower students and faculty. Through this activity, education continues to evolve, ensuring that students receive the best possible opportunities for their endeavors.
