SCOPUS Indexed Journal of Public Health by Oxford Academic Journal Publishes Three Collaborative Studies

February 28, 2021

The mission of the Center for Research and Development is to build a culture of research that places great value on conducting and communicating scholarly-based research that meets the needs of the college and the community.

Thus, Mabalacat City College gave recognition to Professor Raymond John D. Vergara, the College's Vice President for External Affairs and Internationalization, and Mr. James Darwin N. Lagman, Instructor of the Institute of Arts, Sciences and Teacher Education and an alumnus of the College, for the successful publication of their three (3) collaborative studies on the SCOPUS indexed Journal of Public Health by Oxford Academic. The paper entitled "Building Public Trust: A Response to COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Predicament" was lead-authored by Prof. Vergara, and two of the papers were lead-authored by Mr. Lagman: “Culture as a Contributory Factor in Combating the Covid-19 Pandemic” and “Distressing Healthcare Workers During the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Challenges of Holiday Season in the Philippines''. These researches paved an illuminating path during these trying times of infodemic and intellectual struggles, amid the ever-looming COVID-19 pandemic.
