Go Philippines: Go for Accessible Gadgets

February 12, 2021

As part of Mabalacat City College’s mandate, MCC partnered with Go Philippines to provide equal access to education. This pandemic proved that the Digital Divide in the country is felt, especially to the students of MCC. A number of students were deprived of accessing online classes and distant learning due to not having essential equipment for it. Based on the Student Capacity Survey of Academic Affairs, only 70% of MCC students have access to gadgets, that is why MCC partnered with Go Philippines to provide economical and flexible gadget loans for all students and faculty of MCC.

Furthermore, with a 0% interest rate and up to a 5-year payment term, Go Philippines aimed to help disadvantaged students to have an advantage by having the crucial technological gear for the “New Normal” in Education. Go Philippines also provided end-to-end assistance to every student and faculty for this loan to not be of bearing to them and with its motto, “No one left behind”, Go Philippines stated that the private and public sector can create holistic solutions for long-term results.
