MCC and Dapdap Elementary School Ink MOA for Community Empowerment

Mabalacat City, Philippines – Mabalacat City College (MCC) and Dapdap Elementary School (DES) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last 14 September 2023. This partnership aimed to implement the Community Empowerment Services of the College by adopting the Barangay Dapdap for community organization and development.

The partnership set forth the I am Providing Optimum Wellness ERudition to Communities through Literacy And Numeracy (I am POWEr CLAN) initiative of MCC. This underscores the College’s five year- long (2023-2028) project of literacy development, environmental protection efforts, cultural preservation, and livelihood programs for the community of Dapdap.

MCC was represented by the Institute of Teacher Education (ITE) Dean Dr. Arvina D. Sarmiento while DES was represented by School Principal Dr. Richard A. Broñola. Also present in the MoA signing was Kayantabe Manager Ms. Carol R. Arboleda.

By forging such partnerships and adopting Dapdap Elementary School, Mabalacat City College remains steadfast to its commitment to cultivating and empowering the community’s literacy, environment, culture, and livelihood, and provide the students and faculty with opportunities directed to the community’s needs.
