MCC-ITE Unveils Research Journals

Mabalacat City College's Institute of Teacher Education (MCC-ITE) unveiled research journals on 19 September 2023 at Cultural Hall. The research journals were dedicated to the Teacher Education Programs.

These included titles such as Discimus Doscendo Socialis, Trouvaille, Kinaadman, Leducation Physique, Saliksipnayan, Coruscate, Discere Victum, Scientia Investigationis, and LLL. This initiative aimed to provide students with opportunities to pursue research on focused topics, develop critical thinking skills and creativity, as well as experience the excitement of intellectual discovery.

MCC Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Romeo D. Erese III delivered the opening remarks, while ITE Dean Dr. Arvina D. Sarmiento provided the closing remarks. Additionally, Director for the Center for Community Research and Innovation Mr. James Darwin N. Lagman, discussed policies related to research innovation classes and the working committee. Faculty members from ITE also attended the event.

The unveiling of these research journals represents an exciting opportunity for MCC to provide its students with high-quality, relevant learning materials that reflect the needs of the community. This also strengthens the efforts of MCC to provide quality educational resources for both its students and faculty.

This marked the integration of Mabalacat City’s cultural heritage into the MCC-101 course, a core subject designed to orient students to the institution's values and foster civic engagement.
