MCC Stories: Journeying Back, Advancing Forward #8

With 2024 peeking at the corner, MCC recollects a fruitful and meaningful year of commitment in providing the community with learning and professional opportunities.

One of MCC’s community-responsive programs---the MCC x VXI Contact Center Services Certificate, equips students with pertinent soft and technical skills to prepare them to enter and excel in the Business Process Outsourcing industry. Krischell Anne T. Faust, MCC x VXI Batch 3 Trainee, testifies to the impact of the program to her professional growth and personal development.

“Signing up for the MCC x VXI training was easily one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. It was a great experience all throughout and I don’t think I would have received the “Applicant of the Day” award from VXI without it!

The training helped me connect the dots on what BPO is and gave me a clear picture on what to expect. We were all taught so well by Ma’am Cherry, a great trainer from VXI. She made the whole learning process fun and engaging. We also learned detailed tips on communicating and speaking English from her.

Within a week, I got along well with the other learners, learned the whole application process, gained so much knowledge about BPO, and felt more than ready for the interview.

The MCC staff also made us feel so welcome and even accommodated us with food and a comfortable setting. The learning curriculum they designed really aided in achieving so much progress in a week.

After the training, a lot of us managed to get “Applicant of the Day” and ace the application process. It made me really grateful for the experience I’ve had with the training and all that came with it!”

Testimonies such as these showcase MCC’s unwavering dedication in reducing the skills gap in the community by partnering with industries to provide corporate education. With this, the College welcomes the new year with continued passion and goal of being the community’s top choice in training and education.
