MCC President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong underscored the importance of active participation for successful leadership. She emphasized that leaders must be responsive not only to their organization but also to the wider community. Dr. Aguilar-Ong reminded the student leaders that MCC is a community college that affects the community positively. She stated, "You are here to motivate and influence them (other students) to extend themselves for community service."

Director for Health and Wellness, Ms. Florient Non, assured continuous support for student leaders and their proposed programs through the Student Life division. Additionally, Student Leadership Development Officer Mr. Prince EJ N. Manalo reiterated that leadership is about fundamentally about making a positive impact.

Dr. Aguilar-Ong posed a challenge to the student leaders, encouraging them to define their leadership roles in order to effectively extend their service to the community. This trains the students to become not only academically proficient individuals but also responsible and engaged citizens who contribute positively to society.
