July 03, 2021

Twenty (20) Senior High School students under Technical Vocational Livelihood Tourism received National Certificate III (NCIII) after passing TESDA Assessment for Events Management Services last June 26-27, 2021 at the Asyano Assessment Center, San Fernando, Pampanga. The MCC Community was filled with joy and pride after obtaining an unblemished 100% passing rate on said assessment.

To pass the assessment, the SHS students should be able to demonstrate skills in Event Planning Services such as developing an event concept and program; selecting the event venue, and enhancing event industry knowledge. Further, these learners were also able to demonstrate competencies in On-site Event Management Services wherein they were able to provide on-site management services, manage contractors for in-door events, and advance knowledge on protocols.

NC III holders (in Events Management Services) are qualified to be a function coordinator, an event director, or a conference director. Hence, these NC III-certified students now have job opportunities waiting ahead of them!

The management, together with the Director of the Center for Applied Associate Degrees (CAAD), Ms. Leonita M. Jaca, and the focal person of the Senior High School Department, Mr. Charles Justine Dizon, was delighted with the success of the students and of the event.
