Student Leaders' Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony Takes Place Ahead of the Academic Year Opening

Mabalacat City College conducted the Virtual Induction and Oath Taking Ceremony of the Student Council and Student Organization Officers of MCC held at the Executive Board Room on August 23, 2021, with more than 160 student-leaders who attended online.

The Virtual Induction and Oath-taking Ceremony were graced by the College President, Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong, and the Asst. Vice President Basty A. Sebastian, MCC Kayantabe Director and Student Council Adviser Niel Rigdao, and Ms. Kerly Jane Marucut of the Student Affairs Office.

The College President shared with the elected students what it takes to be a leader, especially during the pandemic. A true leader is tested in times of crisis; hence, the student’s skills in leadership will show. They must take these times as a challenge for them to prevail over. Dr. Ong ends her speech by congratulating the student-leaders.

After the President’s position, the most notable part of the event proceeded with the induction proper and signing of oaths of office, which the College President led as the inducting officer.

Mr. Denmark Blances, the newly inducted President of the Supreme Student Council and who is set to sit at the Board of Directors of MCC as the student representative, assured the management of utmost support to the college’s vision and mission and pledged to lay down concrete platforms and undertakings for the best interest of the students.
