MCC - IAS, NASAT Labs Initiate Collaboration

The Institute of Arts and Sciences of Mabalacat City College and the Nanotech Analytical Services and Training Corp. of Poblacion, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, (NASAT) Labs begin initial collaborative steps on providing hands-on industry experience to BS Biology OJT students. Both MCC and NASAT Labs share optimism for potential collaboration ahead, aiming to harness the power of science and technology that will further drive innovation and foster sustainable development in the region.

NASAT Labs is a private industry that offers services such as failure analysis, material characterization, water and environmental testing, and technical training to semiconductors, electronics, and related industries.

The potential partnership between MCC and NASAT Labs hope to enhance and further skill the students in their research endeavors and capacitate them to take on the challenge of more responsive investigations in science and technology ably supported by industry partners like NASAT Labs.

The visitation by MCC representatives, IAS BS Biology instructor, Frienchie Ann Yamauchi, Joeylyn Sagat, Mabalacat City College (MCC) Global Initiatives Coordinator, and Francis Dalida, Institutional Advancement Coordinator, at the main branch located at Arellano, Poblacion, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila is an opening motion in exploring the potential collaboration opportunity and laying the groundwork for institutional partnerships. NASAT Labs’ Technician and Operations Director, Marlon Llana, provided an in-depth look at the laboratory’s cutting-edge facilities and innovative services.

16 August 2024 – Mabalacat City College (MCC), through its Workforce Development Office and Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management successfully concluded a 50-hour Bread and Pastry Training Program, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Mabalacat. The completion ceremony for the 70 participants was held at the MCC Hometown Bar and Restaurant.
