MCC and Kalibrr Unite for #GenerationHired Virtual University Roadshow

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Mabalacat City College (MCC) Workforce Development Unit partnered with Kalibrr for their Virtual University Roadshow, titled #GenerationHired: Connecting Education to Employment on September 26, 2023. The event aimed to provide students with insights into the world of employment.

The event featured two sessions with speakers. Kalibrr Marketing and Growth Supervisor Ms. Erica Pascual, presented "A Job-seeker's Guide to Unlocking Career Opportunities with Kalibrr." This highlighted the opportunities Kalibrr provides to job seekers and offered a roadmap for budding professionals.

Consequently, Corporate College and Lifelong Learning Coordinator of MCC Ms. Mikaela Joy Garcia, discussed "The New Work Reality: Tips for Job Seekers Adapting to Workplace Trends," which focused on adapting to changing workplace dynamics. Ms. Garcia equipped the audience with essential information to navigate the changing trends and succeed in their careers.

Over 250 4th-year students from MCC participated in this event, emphasizing the need for initiatives bridging education and the job market.

MCC extends its deepest gratitude to Kalibrr for this enriching collaboration. The success of this venture amplifies the importance of fostering connections between academia and the industry, setting the stage for promising career journeys.

16 August 2024 – Mabalacat City College (MCC), through its Workforce Development Office and Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management successfully concluded a 50-hour Bread and Pastry Training Program, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Mabalacat. The completion ceremony for the 70 participants was held at the MCC Hometown Bar and Restaurant.
